Our World Cardmaking Day event is this weekend, Saturday Oct. 6th and Sunday Oct. 7th. We’ll have live craft demonstrations and free giveaways every half hour during the event. Now it’s time to meet another one of our wonderful demonstrators.
My Name is Magdalena Cortez and I’m from Mexico ..I love art crafts and now I’m hooked into Scrapbooking as my full time job…I’m doing Classes in some Stores here in San Diego, Ca. and also I just started my Kit Club at Ustream.. I love to make mini Albums and I love to work with Graphic45, Bo Bunny, Prima Papers, Authentique and many more, paper is my passion.
My Style is defined as “Romantic*Eco-Trashy*Elegant” …. I love color and you can see it all over my creations, I love butterflies I use a lot of cardboard and all kind of recycled materials mixed with new materials, I like to experiment with paints and distresses to give an unusual and distinctive touch to my work.. I love to make Mini Albums in all kind of shapes with different techniques and I really love my Cards.
I think creativity is a cumulative experience where life combined with imagination produces art to be preserved forever.
